ABOUT

Self-improvement doesn't have to be a solo sport.

I built The 175 Project because every “challenge” I tried worked for about a week – then one missed day turned into giving up entirely. The problem was never willpower. It was the format: all-or-nothing, solo, and built to make you fail.

So this is built differently. One hour a day, five pillars, blended however fits your life – held together by a community that shows up with you, not a countdown that punishes you for being human.

– Steve, Founder

The philosophy

Process over perfection

The best teams and organisations in the world don’t rely on individual heroics – they build systems that make good behaviour easy to repeat. Elite sport, high-performing teams, and behavioural science all point the same way: lasting change comes from structure and psychological safety, not sheer grit.

The comparison

A practice, not a countdown.

CHALLENGE CULTURE

Miss a day, start over from zero

Solo accountability only

Rigid, identical daily rules

Ends after the challenge – then what?

Shame as the primary motivator

175 PROJECT

Miss a day – pick back up, no penalty

Community accountability, always on

Blend your hour however fits your life

An ongoing practice, not a finish line

Belonging as the primary motivator
