Code of Conduct
How we show up for each other.
Hey Steve here.
The 175 Project works because of the people in it. Not the pillars, not the prompts, not the hour itself the people. So, before anything else, here’s the deal we all make with each other when we join.
This isn’t a list of threats. It’s a description of the community we’re building, written down so we can protect it.

How We Treat Each Other
What Doesn’t Belong Here
How Moderation Works
Most issues get a friendly, private nudge first we assume good intent, because this community mostly is good intent. The usual path is:
Some things skip the queue: hate speech, harassment, scams, and sharing members’ private posts outside the group result in immediate removal, no warnings.
If something’s bothering you, don’t battle it out in the comments – use Facebook’s report function or message me or a moderator directly. We’d genuinely rather hear about it early.
One Last Thing
If you ever wobble on what’s okay to post, here’s the test: would it make someone’s hour easier to show up for? If yes, post it. If it would make someone feel behind, small, or judged – sit on it.
One hour. Your way. Every day. Together.
Best wishes,
Steve
Showing Respect in our facebook group
Kind – Encouragement Is the Default
No personal attacks, mockery, or pile-ons. Celebrate every win, however small. If someone is struggling, support them – don’t lecture them.
No Shaming, Ever
No streak-shaming, body-shaming, diet-shaming, or “no excuses” talk. A missed day is never a failure here. We’re a practice, not a punishment.
Everyone’s Hour Is Their Own
Different lives, bodies, and schedules mean different hours. Don’t correct or prescribe how others do their pillars. Share what worked for you, not what others should do.
No Selling or Self-Promotion
No promoting businesses, coaching, MLMs, affiliate links, or products – in posts, comments, or DMs. Unsolicited pitch DMs to members will result in removal.
No Hate or Harassment – Zero Tolerance
Hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind means immediate removal. No warnings, no second chances.
Keep Members’ Posts Private
What’s shared here stays here. Don’t screenshot or share another member’s posts outside the group without their explicit permission.
No Medical, Mental Health, or Financial Advice
Share personal experience freely, but don’t present it as professional advice. If someone needs real help, encourage them to see a professional and flag it to a moderator.
Honest Venting Welcome – Judgement Isn’t
Monday Moans is for getting it off your chest. When others vent, listen, and support. Don’t diagnose, fix, or judge unless they’ve asked for input.
No Spam or Engagement Bait
No repeated link-dropping, chain posts, off-topic promotion, or bait posts. Keep the feed useful and human.
See a Problem? Report It, Don’t Fight It
Don’t battle it out in the comments. Use the report function or message Steve or a moderator directly – we’d rather hear about it early.
