Privacy Policy
Hi – Steve here. This page explains what personal information The 175 Project collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are. I’ve written it in plain English because privacy policies shouldn’t need a law degree to read. The short version: we collect only what we need to run your membership, we never sell your data, and you’re in control.
The 175 Project is operated by Conscious Consultants Limted (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in the United Kingdom. We are the “data controller” for the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it’s used.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at team@175project.com.

We will never sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
We share data only with the services that help us run The 175 Project:
Each of these providers is only permitted to use your data to provide their service to us. We may also share information if required by law, or with professional advisers (like our accountant) under confidentiality.
Some of our service providers (such as Stripe and some email platforms) are based in, or store data in, the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are protected by legally recognised safeguards, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement, UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision (including the UK–US Data Bridge, where the provider is certified).
Our website uses cookies small text files stored on your device to make the site work (for example, keeping you logged in to your member account), and, with your consent, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Essential cookies are always on because the members’ area can’t function without them. Analytics cookies only run if you accept them via the cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email team@175project.com. We’ll respond within one month. There’s no charge, and you don’t need to give a reason.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113 though we’d genuinely appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, encrypted password storage, and limiting access to personal data to those who need it. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take it seriously.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and let members know by email. Minor tweaks (like updating a provider’s name) may happen without notice, so it’s worth checking back occasionally.
