That's the thirty days

You finished.
And you told the

truth.

Volunteering for something like this is easy. Getting to the end of it and then answering honestly — including where it didn’t work — is the rare part, and it’s the part that makes the whole thing worth anything at all.

Thank you. Genuinely.

Days

Complete. Both ends measured, in your own words.

Thirty days, done

However many of them you managed

Some of you will have hit nearly all thirty. Some will have had a fortnight swallowed whole by work or family or illness. Both are useful, and neither is a failure — the honest number is the one that tells us something.

Thirty days behind you. Whatever the shape of them, you’re at the end with the numbers to show it.

What happens next

Three things, and you don't have to do any of them

01

Within two weeks

Your own before-and-after

Your numbers, not the cohort average — day 0 against day 30 on every measure, and what you told us you wanted set against what happened. Sent to you, yours to keep.

02

Shortly after

What the thirty of you found

Published with the sample size stated, the absence of a control group stated, and whatever the numbers actually say. Including if they turn out to be unremarkable.

03

Until [date]

The group stays open

Time for last goodbyes, and to swap details with anyone you want to keep in touch with. Then it closes, as promised at the start.

One last honest thing

You've changed what happens next

Before this month, the case for doing an hour a day across five pillars — together, with guidance, for a sustained stretch — rested on my own six years of it and a stack of research that had never quite tested it that way.

Now there are thirty of you and a set of numbers. That’s not proof and I won’t pretend otherwise. But it’s the difference between a claim and a starting point, and you’re the reason it exists.

If you'd like to carry on

The hour doesn't have to stop here

No obligation whatsoever, and it’s completely fine to say this isn’t for you — you’ve already given us the thing we asked for. But if the last thirty days have earned a permanent place in your day, there’s a room full of people doing the same.
